A new generation of technology
Renewable energy has never been as cost-effective as it is today. A new generation of wind turbines and solar photovoltaic panels with radically improved energy output has arrived on the market, resulting in a significant drop in the price per kWh. Large incentives from both government and utility companies are also available. You benefit immediately by reducing your dependence on local utilities and volatile energy prices.

Boost Your Brand, Bottom Line, and Business Value
For businesses, a green energy system can be especially appealing. By installing a wind or solar system, you will be seen as a leader in your community or industry by setting an example of environmental responsibility. Your alternative energy system will increase the value of your business, and if energy production exceeds your needs, you can make money by selling power back to the utility company.
Even if your system does not produce excess power, using alternative energy is equivalent to locking in a long term power rate that is lower than your current rate and allows you to hedge against rising energy costs in the future and earn renewable energy credits for generating green electricity. Additionally, industries with critical energy usage needs are able to protect themselves against rolling blackouts, energy grid failures, and natural disasters when combining wind turbines or solar arrays with an energy storage system.
With the myriad of incentives, rebates, loans, and financing programs available from the government and other organizations, now is the perfect time to go green.
Solar Energy Benefits
There are many benefits to using solar energy, most notably:
-
Energy Rate SecurityAs energy rates rise significantly over the next few decades, you power rate will remain low and relatively constant.
-
AffordabilityBetween the new state and federal incentives, numerous financing options, and declining equipment costs, solar energy systems are as affordable as ever.
-
Net MeteringBy connecting your system to the power grid, it is possible to sell excess solar electricity to your utility company at the wholesale power rate.
-
Climate FlexibilitySolar panels only require access to solar radiation, not necessarily direct sunlight, as solar energy systems produce power even on cloudy days. In June, two identical solar systems would produce approximately the same amount of electricity in Pennsylvania as in Florida. However, your system must be free of shadows from surrounding objects and positioned toward the sun.
-
ModularitySolar systems make it easy to add additional solar panels should your power needs change.
-
UL CertifiedAll solar power equipment sold and installed by MetroTek is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified, meaning the solar panels comply with the National Electric Code and are designed to withstand 120 mph winds and golf ball sized hail
-
Public BenefitsRenewable energy systems protect America by increasing energy independence and combating pollution and climate change, and your use of green energy sets a positive example for your community or industry.
Wind Energy Benefits
Using wind energy provides many benefits, most notably:
-
Energy Rate SecurityAs energy rates rise significantly over the next few decades, you power rate will remain low and relatively constant.
-
AffordabilityBetween the new state and federal incentives, numerous financing options, and declining equipment costs, now is the ideal time to install a wind energy system.
-
Net MeteringBy connecting your system to the power grid, it is possible to sell excess electricity from your wind turbine to your utility company at the wholesale power rate.
-
24 Hour AvailabilityWind turbines have the ability to produce power at any time during the day, and require only a light breeze to begin turning.
-
Higher Power ProductionWind turbines produce a high volume of electricity and have a small footprint, meaning the land that the turbine occupies can be used for other purposes, such as farming.
-
ReliabilityAll wind turbines sold and installed by MetroTek are Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) approved, meaning the turbines meet all requirements of the National Electric Code, ensuring a high quality system and low maintenance costs.

Turn-Key Process
As a vertically integrated company, we are uniquely positioned to see your next project through from start to finish. Our streamlined turn-key process extends the traditional EPC model to offer you one-stop shopping with a package price, and less bureaucratic overhead.
-
1. Site AssessmentAnalysis of energy consumption data, building energy audits, and a computer-
ized assessment of the install site. -
2. EngineeringA complete renewable energy system will be custom-engineering to meet the facility's energy requirements.
-
3. Financing & Grant WritingWe can finance large projects via a PPA. Our in-house grant writing team will obtain incentives (grants, tax rebates).
-
4. PermittingSite review with the township. Research on local ordinances. Drawings are then signed by our certified engineering and submitted with the permit application.
-
5. InstallationQuality installation by certified installers and experienced power technicians, emphasizing workmanship and safety.
-
6. CommissioningPre-commissioning and launch of your new power plant. Extensive testing and validation to industry standards.
-
7. WarrantyOur 20-year warranty provides 100% coverage for any servicing your renewable power plant may require.
Incentives
Significant incentives are available through state/federal governments and utility companies, but are expiring fast! If you begin your project now, you will be eligible for an immediate 30% Federal Tax Credit for the entire cost of your project.
PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)
Enjoy clean, renewable power without any upfront cost. MetroTek designs and installs a power system at your facility using our streamlined turn-key process. We are responsible for all capital expenditures, long-term ownership, operation, and maintenance of the system. As the customer, you pay only for the electricity that is consumed—all excess electricity is delivered to the local utility via a net metering solution. A PPA ensures long-term predictable energy at prices below utility rates.
